Leica quietly launches M-P digital rangefinder camera [T-break Tech (Middle East)]

(T-break Tech (Middle East) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) If you are one of those who want a camera that delivers quality images and portability without the bulk of an DSLR, you might want to looks at Leica’s newly launched M-P digital rangefinder. It features a 20 megapixel full-frame sensor and internal buffer that is doubled to 2GB compared to the earlier Leica M camera. This will be particularly useful for continuous shots.

Leica's Maestro image processor is the same found in Leica M, ensuring quality images in full frame format along with light sensitivity up to ISO 6400. Furthermore, the M-P is weatherproof and the new screen is protected with sapphire material to avoid scratches and cracks. The Leica M-P will be selling for a whooping $7950 (AED 29,200)- just wish Leica could go soft on the pricing.
