Funguo Investment Gets New Director(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Funguo Investments has appointed Michael Maina Matu as alternate director to Mount Kenya Investment Ltd, one of its corporate shareholders. His appointment is part of efforts to strengthen corporate governance and enhance its skills base. He will serve as a member of board finance and investments and audit and risk committees, according to a statement by the chairman Peter Kimurwa. He has served as managing director of Avon Rubber Ltd /Olympia Capital Holdings Ltd for 20 years until 2012, when he was appointed deputy chairman. Funguo Investments has three anchor shareholders namely Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation, Seta Holdings Ltd and Mount Kenya Investment Ltd who together hold 43.19 per cent of the company.
