Susan H. Rodger Named Recipient of the 2013 ACM Karl V. Karlstrom Outstanding Educator Award(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Boston, MA (PRWEB) August 27, 2014 Pearson announced today that Susan H. Rodger was named the recipient of the 2013 ACM Karl V. Karlstrom Outstanding Educator Award. The award recognizes excellence for outstanding technical and professional achievements and contributions in computer science and information technology. The award is presented annually to an outstanding educator who is appointed to a recognized educational baccalaureate institution. The educator is recognized for advancing new teaching methodologies, or effecting new curriculum development or expansion in Computer Science and Engineering; or making a significant contribution to the educational mission of the ACM. Financial support for the award is provided by Pearson, and a prize of $5,000 was awarded to Rodger on June 21, 2014.
