Fujifilm X30 Digital Camera Debuts at B&H Photo Video [Travel & Leisure Close - Up]

(Travel & Leisure Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Fujifilm has launched the new X30 digital camera that brings with it a range of refinements well suited to the point-and-shoot market.

According to a release, opting for a new high-resolution electronic viewfinder versus the previous optical viewfinders, the Fuji X30 adds a 0.65x-magnification 2.36m-dot OLED Real Time Viewfinder with adaptive brightness and orientation settings and a display lag time of just 0.005 of a second.

This new camera incorporates a larger 3.0" 920k-dot rear LCD screen, which features a tilting design to better facilitate working from low shooting angles. Among other handling improvements, this model also integrates a second control ring surrounding the lens to provide more friendly control over aperture and shutter-speed settings.

Carried over from its predecessor, the Fujifilm X30 features the same 12MP 2/3" X-Trans CMOS II sensor and EXR Processor II, which combine to realize faster continuous shooting up to 12 fps; Intelligent Hybrid AF, which focuses as quickly as 0.06 of a second; and full HD 1080p60 movie recording at 36Mbps.
