American Marketing Association Launches Collegiate Chapter at Fairleigh Dickinson University with Careers in Marketing Event(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MADISON, N.J., Aug. 27 -- Fairleigh Dickinson University issued the following news release: The New Jersey Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) is proud to announce the induction of the Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) Collegiate Chapter. The AMA is partnering with FDU to host the 2nd annual Careers in Marketing event to be held Wednesday September 9th from 6-9 p.m. at Lenfell Hall on the FDU Florham Campus. Andre Paquin, President of the AMA's New Jersey Chapter says "the AMA's principle role is to serve as a forum to connect like-minded individuals and foster knowledge sharing, provide resources, tools and training and support marketing practice and thought leadership around the globe. Careers in Marketing events do this for an audience of anxious soon-to-be college graduates and provides them with real world counsel and advice on how to prepare themselves for that first big step. "The last 10 years have witnessed many changes in marketing practices with a focus on value creation for organizational stakeholders," said Ethne Swartz, chair of the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at FDU's Silberman College of Business. Our new Digital Marketing Concentration provides students with a unique opportunity to engage in experiential learning and to emerge with sought-after credentials when they enter the job market."
