Viva enlisted in KSE [Kuwait News Agency]


(Kuwait News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Viva KUWAIT, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- The Capital Markets Authority has approved enlisting the telecom operator, Viva, in the Kuwaiti Stock Exchange (KSE), Viva has declared on its website.

Viva, established in 2008, is affiliated to the Saudi Telecom Company, which owns 26 of the stakes. Up to 24 percent of the shares are possessed by the State of Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti Government has a substantial volume of the Viva stocks; six percent for the Public Investment Authority and six percent for the Public Institution for Social Security.




Founders' list includes Al-Zakat House, Secretariat-General of Al-Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Public Authority for Minors Affairs, each possessing four percent of the shares.
