Datagate Bilgisayar expects EUR 253mn annual revenue from Avea deal. [IntelliNews - Weekly Reports]
(IntelliNews - Weekly Reports Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Computer components dealer Datagate Bilgisayar informed in a filling with the Bourse Istanbul on August 28 that it expects to collect TRY 720mn (EUR 253mn) net annual sales revenues from the Avea deal.
Earlier this month, Datagate signed an agreement with Turkey's third largest GSM operator Avea in order to provide mobile phones, GSM cards etc. products to Avea. Datagate had said that it expects TRY 420mn net revenues from the deal.
In the filling issued by Datagate on August 28, Datagate informed that the scope of the deal with Avea has been expanded and Datagate will also provide IT products to Avea's other distributors in addition to Avea's branches.
Datagate's consolidated turnover increased to TRY 77.3mn in H1 from TRY 74.3mn a year ago while it posted a consolidated net income of TRY 0.69mn against a consolidated net loss of TRY 1.2mn.
