New notebooks by Moleskine to turn notes into digital files [DesignMENA.com]

(DesignMENA.com Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Popular stationery brand Moleskine has created a series of notebooks called Moleskine Livesribe Notebooks that turns notes and sketches into digital files.

Designed to work with the Livescribe 3 smartpen, it connects to iOS devices through Bluetooth and send each pen stroke in real time to an app.

The digital translations can then be viewed on smartphone and tablet devices, the motion sensors in the pen recording the position and movements made by the writer.

Audio recording is also possible while writing, including starting, pausing and stopping by tapping the pen nib on icons at the bottom left corner of the notebook pages.

The user can also star, flag and tag notes to organise them within the app, with icons located at the bottom right corner.
