Taskforce to tackle global cybercrime [Eire Region] [Mirror (UK)](Mirror (UK) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) AN elite international taskforce has been launched to tackle cybercrime around the world. The Joint Cybercrime Action Taskforce will cover areas such as online fraud, intrusion and malware in the European Union and other participating countries. Austria, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK and the US are part of the J-CAT, with Australia and Columbia set to get on board too. Andy Archibald of the UK's National Crime Agency said: "This is a unique opportunity for international law enforcement agencies to share our knowledge to defend against cyber-related attacks."
