China Lays Longer Optical Fibers(Sinocast Telecommunications Beat (China) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WUHAN, September 2, SinoCast -- At the 2014 CYBERNET CHINA, chief engineer of the Wuhan Research Institute of Post & Telecommunications revealed optical fiber consumption of 147 million core kilometers in 2013, laying optical fibers lengthening 1,745 kilometers and 750 million core kilometers. By the end of June 2014, China's optical fibers had lengthened 1,884 kilometers. In the first half of 2014, China's optical fiber lengths increased 1.38 million kilometers. |
