IHRIM Announces Executive Director
WASHINGTON --(Business Wire)--
The International Association for Human Resource Information Management
(IHRIM), the world's leading clearinghouse for the HRIM (Human Resource
Information Management) industry, announced today that, after a
nationwide search, it has named as its Executive Director Todd Mann.
Mann spent the early part of his career starting up companies, much of
it in technology. He worked his most recent ten years in leadership
roles at the National Restaurant Association and Associated Builders and
Contractors.
Kevin Carlson, Chair of IHRIM and Head, Department of Management at
Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech, said, "We are fortunate to
have found someone like Todd. He has a unique blend of entrepreneurial
background and experience in association management that is exactly what
we were looking for. Todd is the right person to take this organization
to the next level."
Mann pioneered the concept of placing full-service bank branches inside
supermarkets, before creating an electronic commerce exchange in the
construction industry and then initiating an educational program with
live offerings over the internet twelve years ago.
Mann was in charge of revenue programs for the $60 million-dollar
restaurant association and then led the $24 million construction
industry association. A resident of Chevy Chase, Maryland, he will be
directing IHRIM from Washington, D.C.
