BitPay to Present at TigerDirect Tech Bash and IT Conference [Health & Beauty Close - Up](Health & Beauty Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BitPay said that it plans to participate at the Annual TigerDirect Tech Bash and IT conference and expo, Innovation. In its release, BitPay said that its involvement with the Bash will pave the way for consumers to explore new technologies, and simultaneously allow bitcoiners to use the commerce with brands. BitPay is sponsoring a Bitcoin Pavilion featuring a variety of Bitcoin companies that have consumer-facing products. In an effort to focus on consumer platforms, BitPay has invited companies that offer mining hardware, cloud mining subscriptions, education materials, an iOS bitcoin wallet, an exchange and a Bitcoin ATM to showcase their products. Guests will be allowed to purchase bitcoin and use it at TigerDirect pop-up shops throughout the venue. Similarly, at the B2B Suite during Innovation, BitPay will have a 10x10 set-up to speak to BitPay's viability in commerce as The Future of Payments, and share insights on why businesses should become early adopters of bitcoin. TigerDirect and BitPay have signed on two South Beach hotel properties, the Essex House and The Clevelander, to serve as Premier Bitcoin Hotel Partners. TigerDirect.com, a subsidiary of Systemax, is a retailer specializing in consumer electronics, technology products and computer services. BitPay is a bitcoin merchant processor.
