Intermodal Transportation Institute appoints CH2M HILL Transportation Market President Terry Ruhl to Board of Directors


(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) CH2M HILL, a global engineering full-services firm, is proud to announce that the University of Denver's Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI) has appointed CH2M HILL Transportation Market President Terry A. Ruhl to its Board of Directors.



The ITI Board serves as a guide for the Institute's educational programs, provides leadership and strategic direction to the ITI, and shares expertise and resources to the academic and outreach endeavors of the program. Board members serve a three-year term and contribute to the success of the ITI through guidance, participation in educational content and financial and other support to the academic program.

Ruhl is one of five newly named ITI Board members, along with Cynthia Ott, Vice President of Human Resources for Maersk Line in North America; Dean Wise, Vice President of Network Strategy for BNSF; Bradley Thomas, President of FirstGroup America's Division First Transit and First Services; and Mary Ellen Russell, Chief Human Resource Officer for Genesee & Wyoming Inc.

Ruhl is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE Fellow), the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Transportation Research Board. He also served as the Board of Directors Chair for the Airport Consultants Council and has written many articles on airport planning and engineering as well as overall transportation and business management issues.
