FERC Issues Notice of Extension of Time Re Chesapeake Energy Marketing, Inc et al Under RP14-1044(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued the following notice: Chesapeake Energy Marketing, Inc., Chief Oil & Gas LLC, Tug Hill Marcellus, LLC, and Enerplus Resources (USA) Corporation Docket No. RP14-1044-000 NOTICE GRANTING EXTENSION OF TIME (September 26, 2014) OnSeptember 23, 2014,Chesapeake Energy Marketing, Inc.,Chief Oil & Gas LLC,Tug Hill Marcellus, LLC, and Enerplus Resources (USA) Corporation (collectively, Parties) filed a request for a nine day extension of time of the waiver period granted in the above referenced proceeding. (Chesapeake Energy Marketing, Inc. et al., 148 FERC s 61,066 (2014)(the Letter)). The Letter granted Parties a limited, case-specific waiver for ninety days until October 23, 2014,of, in part, theCommission's capacity release regulations. The Parties state that they expect all documentation will be final and all required filings with the Commission submitted by October 23, 2014, however, the Parties desire that the releases become effective on November 1, 2014, thereby avoiding a mid-month transfer of capacity, and matching the normal contract cycle in the natural gas industry.
