71% of Legal Professionals Fail To Use Document Automation Software

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (PRWEB UK) 1 October 2014 TheFormTool, LLC, providers of innovative document assembly software, have conducted their own research and discovered that 71% of people in the legal industry in the USA don't use document automation software.

In contrast, the results from the survey also highlight that 60% of those working in the accounting industry use this type of program. The findings showcase how industries such as accounting are streamlining business processes; while other sectors, such as legal, could maximise efficiency by using this software to their advantage.

In addition to the above, the legal industry also spends the most time (up to six hours maximum) managing paperwork on a daily basis. On the other hand, those in finance and accounting spend the least amount of time completing this process (up to four hours).

The statistics reflect that automation software has significantly reduced company admin time for both the finance and accounting industries, placing productivity at a higher level than the legal industry.

56% of respondents in the finance industry and 41% in the government sector also stated that they use document automation software to improve reporting, document assembly, data collection, scheduling and productivity.

Reasons provided as barriers to improving productivity included faulty technology, dated processes and a lack of internal communication.

Director of Consumer Service, Bob Christensen, spoke about the results: "From the survey and research we have conducted, it's clear that more companies and industries could be using automation software to improve their business processes and maximise efficiency in the workplace." "By doing this, they can then focus their attention on the most important areas of their business, while their document management is in safe and reliable hands." "We're encouraging all of those who currently work without document assembly software to think about the advantages that investing in this can have on their own business by observing the statistics as proof of the improvement in productivity and workflow".
