HIBBETT SPORTS INC FILES (8-K) Disclosing Change in Directors or Principal Officers, Regulation FD Disclosure, Financial Statements and Exhibits(Edgar Glimpses Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers. On September 29, 2014, Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc. (the "Company"), a subsidiary of Hibbett Sports, Inc., appointed Jared Briskin as the Company's Senior Vice President and Chief Merchant, effective immediately. Since March 2010, Mr. Briskin had served as the Company's Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager, for the Footwear and Equipment Divisions. Mr. Briskin joined the Company in 1998 and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility since that time. Mr. Briskin will replace Rebecca A. Jones, the Company's Senior Vice President of Merchandising, Marketing and Logistics, whose employment with the Company ended effective September 29, 2014. Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosures.
