Bahrain, Caserta National School of Public Administration sign MoU [Bahrain News Agency](Bahrain News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Manama, Oct 1 (BNA) – Minister of State for Follow-up Affairs, Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa, today signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Caserta Center for Corporate Governance and National School of Public Administration of Italy. The MoU includes providing consultancy and exchange of expertise that assist in the establishment of Bahrain Center for Corporate Governance. In addition to the exchange of visits, preparation of joint scientific researches and projects in the field of corporate governance and the development of capacity building training programmes in governance fields in government sector. The MoU also stipulates the formation of a special committee to follow up the activation and implementation of the MoU provisions. The minister also held a meeting with Director of International Relations of Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and discussed bilateral cooperation. The two parties agreed that Bahrain to be the OECD's partner in the region in line with Bahrain leading standing in many areas, most notably administrative reforms and anti-corruption. OECD International Relations Director lauded Bahrain's active participation in the Middle East and North Africa governance progamme, noting Bahrain's experience in field of training, capacity building and education.
