Hiram College to Offer Marketing & Entrepreneurship Programs at the Holden University Center

Hiram College will now offer a Bachelor of Arts in marketing (http://lakelandcc.edu/c/document_library/get_file?uuid=cd9ab87d-68dc-45e8-bf93-4aeda7b90b32&groupId=355709) and a Bachelor of Arts in entrepreneurship (http://lakelandcc.edu/c/document_library/get_file?uuid=85fd2e29-5324-4d6d-ba61-ffdf56aa7486&groupId=355709) on Lakeland's Kirtland campus.

Bachelor of Arts in Marketing In an effort to meet the demand for skilled marketing professionals, Hiram's marketing degree program will develop students to work in the areas of advertising, marketing, sales, product development, project management and marketing research. The program will highlight marketing strategies in a global marketplace as well as for and nonprofit sectors.


According the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for advertising, promotions and marketing managers is expected to grow 12 percent through 2022, as companies aim to increase their market share.

Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship Hiram will begin offering its B.A professional program to meet the demand for people with an entrepreneurial mindset.

The program is rooted in a liberal arts program that will serve as the foundation for successful entrepreneurs. Students will not only learn to start and organize a business but also how to foster the creativity that can lead to developing products, services and programs.

About the Holden University Center Established in fall 2011, the Holden University Center of Lakeland Community College offers convenient access to complete bachelor's and graduate degrees from a variety of leading colleges and universities.

Built in response to the community's request for accessibility to high education, the Holden University Center has brought 16 bachelor's degree programs (http://lakelandcc.edu/web/holden/degree-programs) and three graduate degree programs from seven university partners within reach of Lake County residents.
