AWR Software Suite Upgrades Graphic Options(Microwaves & RF Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Enhancements to capacity and speed to support 64-bit mode on 64-bit operating systems headline National Instruments’ V11 release of its AWR Design Environment. Among other features are a new gamma probe model, layout improvements (specifically shape pre-processing, or SPP), additional testbench and example products, and an improved 3D EM editor for the creation of arbitrary 3D structures. Expanded graphic options include stepped colors on swept traces and multi-selection of traces for edit. Automatic ports technology simplifies the extraction flow, and support is now included for AFS band limiting.
