Executive Ulman Welcomes Upcoming ICBN Client at nTech Solutions Headquarters Opening

(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ELLICOTT CITY, Md., Oct. 13 -- Howard County issued the following news release: Howard County Executive Ken Ulman today welcomed nTech Solutions Inc. to its new corporate headquarters in Howard County, where it will reap the benefits of the Inter-County Broadband Network (ICBN). nTech, an Inc. 500 IT solutions provider, celebrated the opening of its new base of operations in Columbia.

"I have been saying from the beginning of ICBN's construction that this robust bandwidth is a necessity of doing business today. It's more than just a luxury," said Executive Ulman. "In the case of nTech, the ICBN will allow the company to more efficiently, better serve its clients through its cloud-based systems. Hopefully, other occupants of this building will see the competitive advantages of the ICBN and will connect as well." In September, nTech Solutions moved to its new 3,000 sq. ft. suite in The Woodlands offices on Bendix Road. The site will be the headquarters for the company's 125 employees and house the back office hub for its client services.

"Howard County has been our home both personally and professionally since we started in a basement nearly 10 years ago. It is the best strategic location for access to our clients," said nTech co-founder and CEO Sridhar Kunadi "By purchasing this office instead of leasing, we are reaffirming and strengthening our commitment to Howard County," said nTech co-founder and President Surajit Sengupta. "With the added benefit of ICBN, we knew it was the best place to invest for the future growth of our company." The "last mile connection" will allow all occupants of the office building to access ICBN's bandwidth, which is estimated to be 10 times faster than existing broadband connections. The fiber will connect to the ICBN hub at the county's Thomas Dorsey Building down the street.

"I am pleased that these ICBN partnerships are providing opportunities for business growth in our community, especially in the area of IT," said Calvin Ball, Chairperson of the Howard County Council. "Companies like nTech provide good paying, skilled jobs that offer promising futures to our residents." Howard County Council Vice-Chairperson Courtney Watson added, "By investing in technology and facilitating business expansion, we are keeping our community and our economy thriving for future generations. We are so pleased that nTech embraces our vision and has invested in its future in Howard County." About nTech Solutions Inc.
