AssureStart Selects Wexley School for Girls as Agency of Record

SEATTLE --(Business Wire)--

AssureStart, the online small business insurance provider, has selected Seattle-based Wexley School for Girls as its advertising agency of record. AssureStart sells business property and general liability insurance on the Internet exclusively to small businesses.

According to Chad Zenner, AssureStart's chief marketing officer, Wexley will help the insurance startup develop and build a brand that resonates with small business owners.

"We're simplifying the commercial insurance-buying process through an intuitive online experience that lets small business owners purchase affordable coverage in as little as five minutes," says Zenner. "Like AssureStart, Wexley is a true original. We look forward to tapping the agency's creative power to promote our unique value proposition in a memorable and compelling way."

Wexley School for Girls won AssureStart's advertising business following a formal agency review. Estimated billings and other participants in the competitive agency review process will not be disclosed.

"We're excited to have this opportunity to partner with AssureStart," says Cal McAllister, Wexley CEO and co-founder. "When we started Wexley 11 years ago with two guys and a dog, we were thrown into a panic by a potential landlord and got insurance from a broker as a favor. With AssureStart, no one should ever have to go through that again. These guys are revolutionizing small business insurance, and we're thrilled to show small business owners what they can do."

Formed in February 2013, AssureStart launched service in its first state in November 2013. The company currently does business in 25 states. AssureStart is on track to reach more than 70 percent of U.S. small businesses by the end of 2014, with a national footprint complete in early 2015.
