SAIC Secures GSA IT Schedule 70 Contract [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Science Applications International (SAIC) has been awarded with the General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software and Services (IT Schedule 70) contract to support federal agencies and state, local, and tribal entities by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Integrated Technology. The company reported that the multiple-award, indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a five-year base period of performance, and three five-year options. SAIC said in a release that it will provide information technology professional services through this Schedule contract. IT "IT Schedule 70 is an innovative approach to provide a wide range of IT services to the federal government," said SAIC Sector President Nazzic Keene. "We are excited to be a trusted vendor for government agencies to obtain software products, support, training, and consulting services at approved pricing and with license terms."
