Four Miami men face a combined 105 felonies over phone thefts in Key West [Florida Keys Keynoter, (Marathon, Fla.)](Florida Keys Keynoter (Marathon, FL) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Oct. 20--A cell-phone tracking device led to the arrests of four Miami men on numerous felony theft charges early Sunday morning in Key West. Yordan Hernandez, 33, Angel Toral, 52, Jose Carvajal Lopez, 27, and Jorge Ernesto Fiorenzano, 27, are charged with a combined 105 felonies, including dealing in stolen property and grand theft less than $5,000. They're being held without bond. Two women called police from Sloppy Joe's Bar at Greene and Duval Streets and reported their phones were stolen from their purses while they were dancing. Officer Deandre Morris wrote in a report that when she arrived at the bar, one of the women, from Port St. Lucie, was holding a third person's phone, who let her use it to track her phone. The third person's phone "pinged" the woman's phone at Whitehead Street and Truman Avenue. At that point Morris, asked the three to go with her while she tried to find the phone. While they were driving in the police car, the phone then pinged at Truman Avenue and Simonton Street, then at Truman and White Street, then on North Roosevelt Boulevard and First Street. When they arrived, they saw a black Infiniti sport utility vehicle with four people in it (the suspects). Toral was the driver. The SUV took off, apparently when the suspects saw the police, and they were finally found at North Roosevelt and Kennedy Drive. The SUV was searched and inside, according to Morris' report, were 14 stolen cell phones. Police were able to return nine of the phones to their owners because they, too, had other phones tracking them.
