Globo Granted US Data Security Certification(Alliance News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) LONDON (Alliance News) - Globo PLC said Tuesday that it has been granted certification from the US National Institute of Standards and Technology's Cryptographic Module Validation Program, meaning its cryptographic modules have been validated to meet the "highest industry standard for application security". The company hopes this will give it a competitive advantage to address opportunities in highly regulated markets including government, finance and healthcare, and represents an "important milestone" for its US expansion strategy. "Globo has made a significant investment in providing customers with validated FIPS 140-2 encryption for both our enterprise mobility management and mobile app development solutions," Chief Executive Costis Papadimitrakopoulos said in a statement.
