BRIEF: Cooperative aims to improve county internet access [The Bismarck Tribune, N.D.](Bismarck Tribune (ND) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Oct. 23--BEK Communications Cooperative received a $2.1 million grant to improve rural internet service in northeast Morton County and southeast Oliver County. USDA Rural Development awarded $4.5 million in grants to BEK and others Wednesday through the Community Connect Grant program. BEK will use the funds for fiber-to-the-home technology and other services. The fiber network will be made flexible to meet new population growth.
