BRIEF: Disney Institute classes coming to Ogden [Standard-Examiner, Ogden, Utah](Standard-Examiner (Ogden, UT) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Oct. 25--OGDEN -- There's a lot more to Disney than talking mice and pretty princesses -- the company is a business powerhouse. Disney shares best business practices through Disney Institute classes offered at its theme parks, but now Utahns don't have to travel to California or Florida to participate in the training. Weber School District is hosting "Disney's Approach to Business Excellence," at Weber State University. The one-day workshop, featuring a Disney Institute presenter, runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 6. Registration costs $425, and includes breakfast, lunch and snacks. A percentage of registration fees will benefit the Rex and James Andersen Memorial Scholarship, helping business and marketing students from Weber School District.
