PIAM appoints Mark Lim as new CEO [Kuwait News Agency](Kuwait News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The General Insurance Association of Malaysia (PIAM) has announced the appointment of Mark Lim Kian Wei as its new chief executive officer. Before joining PIAM, Lim managed his private consultancy practice focusing on change management and organisation development, and was the Singapore General Insurance Association Executive Director from 2006 to January 2013. In a statement on Friday, PIAM said Lim had over 33 years of corporate and senior management experience in both the public and private sectors across a spectrum of industries ranging from financial services and life insurance to maritime development, port operations, leisure, and fast-moving consumer goods business.
