Tata Teleservices's Sunil Batra elected new AUSPI president [India Business] [Times of India]


(Times of India Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NEW DELHI: Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India (AUSPI), the grouping for CDMA mobile players, has elected Sunil Batra from Tata Teleservices as its president.

Batra is VP (Corporate Affairs) at Tata Teleservices and takes over from CS Rao, President of Corporate Affairs at Reliance Communications.

Batra was elected at AUSPI's Annual General Meeting. Sumit Monga, GM at Reliance Communications, is the new VP of AUSPI.



While AUSPI represents the views of CDMA operators, the GSM players like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea are represented by Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).
