Michael Barton Joins Goodwin Procter as Chief Financial Officer


Goodwin Procter, a leading Am Law 50 and Global 50 law firm, announced today that Michael Barton has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Barton comes to Goodwin from Rothstein Kass, a leading accounting and management consulting firm, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. As Goodwin's CFO, Barton will be based in its New York office and oversee all of the firm's financial operations.

Prior to joining Rothstein Kass, Barton was Executive Director for Finance at Grant Thornton (News - Alert) LLP, where he previously held the positions of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and Group Director of Finance and Administration. He holds a B.A. from the University of Richmond, and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Pamplin School of Business, Virginia Tech.
