HCA Announces Proposed Public Offering of $750 Million Senior Notes


HCA Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HCA) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, HCA Inc., proposes to offer, subject to market and other considerations, $750 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes. Actual terms of the notes, including interest rate and principal amount, will depend on market conditions at the time of pricing. HCA Inc. intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to repay at maturity its $750,000,000 aggregate principal amount outstanding of existing 6.375% Senior Notes due 2015 and for general corporate purposes. Pending receipt of the proceeds of this offering, HCA Inc. may temporarily borrow any necessary amounts under its revolving credit facilities.

Wells Fargo (News - Alert) Securities, Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank Securities, Goldman, Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and UBS Investment Bank are acting as the joint book-running managers for the offering.
