NFS Technology Group Provides Food for Thought

LONDON, January 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

NFS Technology Group has launched a new downloadable white paper to open a discussion on the impact of mobile technology on restaurant management.

The white paper, entitled: "Balancing the pressure of business with top customer service: some food for thought" is now available to download at http://www.nfs-hospitality.com/mobilitywhitepaper and looks at the extra demand on the busy restaurateur with the changes in consumer attitudes to eating out.

Taken into account in the white paper, authored by NFS Technology Group's Chief Executive Officer Luis De Souza, is a recent survey by PriceWaterhouseCooper* that has revealed more than 70% of people now visit a restaurant at least once a month.

The paper focuses on solutions for the busy restaurateur, including adopting mobile solutions such as NFS Technology Group's dedicted restaurant point of sale software to handle the extra demand and cope with increasing pressures to remain successful, balanced against providing an excellent service to every individual customer.

Says Luis De Souza: "For today's generation of restaurant goers, eating out is not necessarily a special treat, but a regular habit.  Whilst this is great news for the industry, it means that the busy restaurateur today has to be prepared, and the most effective solution is to harness the power of mobility.

"In this white paper we showcase the life of today's restaurateur before looking at each of the mobile options in detail, including the mobile waiter and the mobile manager, to show how mobility has shaken the restaurant business. At the same time, the impact of bloggers and social media on restaurant business is discussed. However, with such an dynamic topic, we can only provide a snapshot insight, with the aim of the paper really to stimulate comment and encourage views and contributions on this very exciting, yet challenging issue."

The white paper entitled "Balancing the pressure of business with top customer service: some food for thought," is now available to download at http://www.nfs-hospitality.com/mobilitywhitepaper and encourages responses to a dedicated Linkedin page at https://www.linkedin.com/company/nfs-hospitality
