GAP Solutions Sponsored Charities Receive $27,500 through the Super Service Challenge

RESTON, Va., Jan. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- GAP Solutions announces donations totaling $27,500 to six different charities as part of its first internal Super Service Challenge. Six teams from GAP Solutions performed over 100 hours of community service for nonprofits including The Beacon, a homeless shelter in Houston, TX, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB), an organization focused on community beautification, the San Miguel School of Washington, DC, Cornerstones, Inc., an organization focused on helping the needy of Fairfax County, VA, Fairfax ReLeaf, an organization focused on community beautification in Northern Virginia, and the Chron's and Colitis Foundation of America. All teams captured videos of their acts of service and explained how they served and the impact the service had on their team. The videos were submitted to www.superservicechallenge.com and winners were selected both by employee votes and blind drawings as part of the Super Service Challenge process.

"We appreciated the service provided by the team from GAP Solutions as part of the Super ServiceChallenge at our school," stated Don Mullikin, President of the San Miguel School – a school focused on educating at risk, low income Latino boys in the Washington, DC area. "Their service made a positive impact on our students and facility."

This is the first year GAP Solutions participated in the Super Service Challenge. GAP Solutions believes structured, company-sponsored volunteer programs boost employee morale, improve employee retention, strengthen employee relationships and develop leadership skills, contributing to overall success for the company.

"We are inspired by Super Service Challenge's unique approach to serving the community and pledged to participate as a company," said Eric Wolking, GAP Solutions Chief Executive Officer. "We're thrilled to be contributing to such important causes as individuals and a team."
