AT&T Names New Vice President And General Manager In Tennessee, Kentucky And Southern Indiana


NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* today announced that it is welcoming industry veteran Kristi Turner to oversee operations in Tennessee, Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Turner will oversee the sales and operations for more than 1,400 employees, 71 AT&T-owned retail locations, 415 national retail partners and 131 authorized retailers across both states. 

"Kristi brings tremendous talent to the table, with experience in nearly every aspect of the business, from operations to retail management," said Kent Mathy, AT&T regional president, Southeast, AT&T Mobility.  "Kristi's expertise and successful track record make her a natural choice to lead our operations in Tennessee, Kentucky and Southern Indiana."

Before being named vice president and general manager, Turner served as an AT&T executive director in market development in Atlanta where she provided strategic insight and direction to AT&T Mobility regarding key business issues and new growth opportunities. In her current position, Turner will be based out of AT&T's Data Center on Franklin Road in Brentwood.

Turner first joined AT&T in 1993 and has held various positions in sales, sales leadership, sales operations and wireless strategy. Kristi holds a BS in Psychology from span >Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.
