ooVoo announces expansion of the Intelligent Video platform

NEW YORK, March 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ooVoo today announces an expansion of its ongoing collaboration with Intel to enhance the video communications experience on ooVoo's Intelligent Video^™ platform.

The existing relationship between the companies brought HD video calling to mobile devices with SuperClear ^™. ooVoo will now use Intel RealSense Technology to create highly engaging video chat offerings which layer the Intel® RealSense™ 3D camera with ooVoo's scalable mobile video SDK and cloud services.

The collaboration will bring together unique experiences inside a video chat that range from virtual avatars that can mimic users' facial expressions in real time to background replacement inside the video call; ooVoo's technology allows users to augment reality.

The booth will also feature the one-of-a-kind interactive flip-dot wall that reads and responds to emotions in real time.

ooVoo's product using the Intel RealSense 3D camera will be available for commercial use and on mobile devices in late 2015.
