Mintz Levin Attorney Joseph G. Blute Receives Client Choice Award for Product Regulation & Liability

Joseph G. Blute, Chair of the Product Liability & Complex Tort Litigation Practice of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has received the 2015 Client Choice Award for Product Regulation & Liability - Massachusetts. The award was presented at the annual gala dinner in London.

Established in 2005, the Client Choice awards recognize those partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client service they provide. The criteria for awards focus on the ability to add real value to clients' business above and beyond the other players in the market. Uniquely, these awards survey senior corporate counsel only, with this year's winners chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments.

Mr. Blute specializes in complex products liability litigation, commercial and business litigation, and insurance coverage matters. He is a trial lawyer with over 30 years' experience defending product manufacturers in product liability cases, with a particular emphasis on the defense of claims involving pharmaceuticals and medical products.

Mr. Blute is a member of the Fellows of both the American and Massachusetts Bar Foundations, has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer annually since 2004, and has been included in The Best Lawyers in America since 2012 for his expertise in products liability litigation.

Mr. Blute, who resides in Natick, MA, received his B.A. from Boston College and his J.D. from George Washington University School of Law, where he was an editor of the law review.
