Heilind is now stocking Griplet Connectors by FCI

WILMINGTON, Mass., March 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Heilind Electronics, the largest distributor of interconnect products in North America, is now stocking FCI's Griplet™ miniature IDC connectors and wire-to-board terminations.

The Griplet's low profile and compact design make it an ideal connector for tight spaces when ease of installation is important. Each connector has a height of 3.7 mm and a footprint of 4.0 mm x 6.1 mm. One part number accommodates multiple wire sizes, 20-32 AWG stranded and solid wire.

The common housings of the Griplet are specially designed for a stackable pitch up to 12 positions and are available to secure and protect terminated components. The connectors provide a highly reliable connection and are suitable in harsh and industrial market applications where direct connection between individual wires and printed circuit boards are required.

Griplet connectors suport various wire-to-board applications, such as industrial and instrumentation, automation controls, sensors, LED lighting, white goods and automotive.
