Analyst Update: Quarterly Results, New Customers, Survey Insights, and Upcoming Events

U.S. stocks were mostly lower on Thursday, continuing a recent bout of volatility as the dollar resumed its upward trend while the euro fell sharply. Thursday's activity represented a retreat from the previous session's heavy move into riskier assets such as stocks and oil brought on by comments from the Federal Reserve, which struck a more dovish tone than investors had anticipated. The Dow Jones industrial average  fell 103.78 points, or 0.57%, to 17,972.41, the S&P 500 lost 9.96 points, or 0.47%  to 2,089.54, while the Nasdaq Composite, supported by strength in large-cap biotech stocks, added 7.79 points, or 0.16%, to 4,990.62. The dollar on Thursday rebounded from its biggest one-day fall against the euro and sterling in six years. In Europe, Euro Stoxx 600 index closed higher, but major bourses were largely flat after a volatile session. The German DAX was the main underperformer. Asian equities outside Japan traded higher on Thursday, underpinned by a strong rebound on Wall Street overnight.

Xunlei Limited (Xunlei) announced its Q4 2014 and full-year 2014 financial results. For the quarter, the Company posted net income attributable to Xunlei of $1.0 million, versus a net loss of $4.7 million in Q4 2013 while operating loss in quarter was narrowed to $6.0 million during the quarter, from operating loss of $10.0 million in Q4 2013.


PT XL Axiata, Indonesia's second largest mobile operator, has selected TubeMogul Inc. (TubeMogul) as its video advertising software partner. Through the partnership, PT XL Axiata will use the Company's analytical tools to better track and identify consumers and strengthen PT XL Axiata's sales offerings.

Unwired Planet, Inc. (Unwired Planet) recorded net revenue of $1.3 million in Q2 FY 2015, while its net loss stood at $11.0 million during the quarter versus net loss of $7.3 million in Q2 FY 2014. The Company also announced a litigation progress update for shareholders.

Varonis Systems, Inc. (Varonis) has provided insights of Internal Data Protection based on a Ponemon Institute survey commissioned by the Company. As per the survey, more than half of U.S. healthcare and pharmaceutical employees believe that their organizations do not place a high priority on the protection of sensitive data.

A leading provider of Internet services and online marketing solutions for small businesses, Web.com Group, Inc. (Web.com) has scheduled a free Small Business Summit on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM at the Omni Tucson National Resort in Tucson, Arizona.
