Adventist University of Health Sciences Announces Rebrand of ADU ONLINE

ORLANDO, Fla., April 17, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Adventist University of Health Sciences (ADU) unveiled a new brand identity for its online education, ADU ONLINE.  The new identity includes a new name, a logo redesign, and a tagline that provides a fresh look to the University's online education.

The bold new logo has a contemporary design that will appeal more strongly to future students and other stakeholders, while distinguishing the University in the online higher education sector.

The new tagline, Science of Health. Art of Care., speaks directly to the University's mission of Healthcare as Ministry while emphasizing its expertise in healthcare education. It encourages all prospective students to discover their full potential at ADU ONLINE.  The tagline is a reminder that it takes more than clinical skills to be successful. Healthcare workers must learn the art of caring for patients, in order to excel.

"Our goal by rebranding ADU ONLINE was to create an online campus that was essentially an extension of who we are, our mission, with its own programs created specifically for the online student," explained ADU ONLINE's Chief Operating Officer, Deena Slockett. "We want to continue to teach tudents not only clinical skills, but how to care for patients on a deeper level in the communities they serve."

Currently, ADU ONLINE offers three programs; RN to BS in Nursing, BS in Radiologic Sciences, and BS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. However, ADU plans on unveiling additional competitive programs in the near future.

"Focusing on ADU ONLINE is a great opportunity for us to take our expertise in healthcare and share it on a national level, with students who cannot physically be on campus," stated ADU President, David Greenlaw. "Physical campuses have capacity constraints that limit how many programs a school may offer. However, the online environment has almost limitless capacity – allowing ADU to grow as a cutting-edge University."

ADU ONLINE programs are taught by top-rated working professionals with clinical backgrounds, and are designed for students to complete the curriculum at their own pace.

ADU's Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, Lonnie Mixon observed, "This complete rebrand acknowledges an individual's desire to learn not just the science behind healthcare, but the art of caring. We are confident that this new approach will raise our institutional appeal among prospective students who strive to become the future providers and leaders of healthcare."
