According to the National Restaurant Association, nearly four in 10 consumers say they would be likely to order food electronically from a menu on their tablet. With Digital Dining's Go Mobile App, restaurant servers can show their guests the menu and pictures, take their order and make credit card transactions, as well as check inventory and print credit card slips without ever leaving the customer's table.

"We are happy to once again team up with Epson to deliver complete POS infrastructure solutions to our restaurant customers," said Andre Nataf, senior business development manager at Digital Dining. "Go Mobile App, along with the light-weight, portable Epson WiFi printer, allows servers to stay on the floor and focus on customers instead of having to walk to the kitchen or workstation. It's the perfect solution to improve customer service and streamline efficiencies resulting in increased revenue for our clients."

"With its Go Mobile App, Digital Dining is delivering the most effective way to create an intuitive and virtually seamless system that allows for full POS system functionality on any of the Apple mobile devices or on any Microsoft Surface tablet or phone," said Tom Kettell, director, commercial channel sales at Epson. "It's an ideal complement to our Mobilink P20 WiFi printer that restaurants can use to manage wireless printing and control all their POS peripherals in web-based and mobie environments. Together, we offer the ultimate in features designed to assist servers in efficient service and restaurant owners with the tools they need to run a more efficient and profitable establishment."

The two companies have previously teamed up to roll out a complete POS system at Eataly, a giant marketplace with multiple dining options. The roll out included Digital Dining software with  Epson's industry-proven wired and wireless receipt printing solutions, including a large number of Epson TM-T88V receipt printers, TM-U220 kitchen printers and a TM-P60II Mobilink on-the-go receipt printer.

Digital Dining's Go Mobile App
Go Mobile App for iPhone®, iPod touch®, iPad® and the iPad mini enables servers to take and fire orders in high volume venues without ever leaving the dining area or running to and from a stationary terminal. It's fully integrated with Digital Dining's standard suite, so it can be easily added to existing networks. The interface is consistent with the standard POS, so servers can start using it with almost no extra training. The Go Mobile App also allows credit card transactions to be completed on the iPad, iTouch and iPhone using the same card reader used in Apple Stores®. This optional device has an extended battery and built-in protective frame, so they are ideal as a restaurant POS. Go Mobile supports both iOS and Windows Mobile and is available now for download at the Apple Store and Windows Phone Store.
