Praxis EMR Ranks #1 for Physician Satisfaction in Black Book's 2015 Survey of Solo and Small PracticesCANOGA PARK, Calif., May 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual customer satisfaction survey of over 5,700 medical practices with 1-5 physicians ranks Praxis EMR as #1 across all specialties. Every year, Florida-based Black Book Market Research LLC conducts a poll of EHR users and publishes an internationally recognized EHR Satisfaction Survey with the results. Praxis EMR topped 348 other systems, with the highest satisfaction rating of the 18 performance based criteria used by Black Book. In addition to earning the top spot for solo and small practitioners, Praxis also ranked #1 overall in the field of Internal Medicine. One trend in the survey was that all 20 of the Top EHRs offer cloud-based solutions. Dr. Richard Low, CEO of Infor-Med Inc., makers of Praxis EMR, feels that the survey results do demonstrate a shift among physicians, but not only towards the cloud. "This survey and Praxis' #1 position in the AAFP's 2015 EHR-Swtch Survey earlier this year strengthen my belief that physicians are finding template-based EHRs to be detrimental to the practice of medicine. Doctors need software that charts their way, quickly and effectively. The technology we have developed inside Praxis does just that." A recent expose in Medical Economics states that "point-and-click" templates are "at the heart of physicians' complaints about EHRs." Praxis, on the other hand, uses a software engine called the Concept Processor, which can generate patient notes in the user's own words, almost instantly. This enables physicians to chart with higher medical quality regardless of specialty. About Black Book About Praxis EMR
