ESG, a Direct Technology Company, Partners With Apogee Interactive

ESG, a leading provider of workforce automation and energy efficiency tracking, is enthusiastic to announce its partnership with Apogee Interactive, a leading force in the energy audit space. This partnership expands ESG's Energy Efficiency Collaboration Platform (EECP) web-based service offering to provide utilities across the country with a truly unique and revolutionary way to report on all aspects of their Demand Side Management programs.

Direct Technology, a company based in Sacramento and Washington, is an incubator of IT product and service solutions for enterprise clients, government agencies and innovative business partners.

Apogee's RESNET® accredited analysis engine, certified at the highest HERS rating level, powers a series of online energy audit tools for electric and gas utility applications. The robust energy analysis software works for both residential and commercial customers, offering unsurpassed accuracy and consistency in messaging. Apogee's product offers residential customers the ability to quickly complete a self-assessment online, asking a subset of questions similar to those used by certified energy auditors.

The software gives an accurate assessment of the building profile and offers a list of relevant recommendations for improvements. In addition, qualified energy analysts perform comprehensive energy audits using the product.

ESG offers an enterprise and web-based Energy Efficiency Collaboration Platform to help utilities better track efficiency programs, automate manual processes, consolidate varied programs and provide comprehensive reports needed y utilities and regulators. The application enables both customers and back-office personnel to submit applications and track projects through their entire lifecycle using a single web-based system. Clients include PG&E, Southern California Edison (News - Alert) and Southern Company.

"Bringing these two products together offers a significant advantage that meets the end-to-end solution so many utilities want," said Jim Malcom, chief financial officer of Apogee Interactive. "ESG and Apogee agree to partner and develop integration points in their respective systems to create a more seamless user experience for utility customers."

As a result of this new partnership, a customer will be able to complete a self-assessment, develop a plan and apply to programs that offer assistance to meet their energy savings objectives.

"The integration between these two products gives utilities, cooperatives and statewide trusts an industry leading end-to-end user experience unavailable elsewhere," said Jason Adge, president of ESG.
