eCAL(SM) Reaches Subscriber Milestone

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., July 2, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Alliance for PEO Electronic Compliance (APEC) announced today that its regulatory compliance software service, Electronic Calendaring, Archiving and Alerts (eCAL), now has 50 NAPEO member subscribers.

eCAL is a permission-based online system available exclusively to NAPEO members and designed to facilitate efficient and reliable state PEO compliance, particularly if PEOs are managing multi-agency or multi-state operations. "eCAL is by far and away the most intuitive and easiest piece of software I have ever used," according to Britt Landrum, III, president of Landrum HR. "There is so much value packed into that web application, I can't imagine operating a PEO in even one state without having it in our tool belt."

eCAL was featured in the May 2015 edition of NAPEO's PEO Insider Magazine in an article showcasing how eCAL complements NAPEO's Regulatory Database and helps PEOs maintain their compliance through step-by-step instructions, staff assignments, and scheduled alerts.

eCAL offers the following benefits for NAPEO members:

  • Up-to-date state PEO regulatory requirements
  • Pre-populated "to do" lists
  • Customizable email lerts and online calendaring tools
  • Team notes for requirements and tasks
  • Archiving capabilities to easily find last year's filings
  • Management reports
  • Advisories alerting you to state requirement changes
  • Seamless integration with NAPEO's regulatory database

"eCAL is a great product that helps your PEO with regulatory compliance, saves staff's time while avoiding costly citations and fines. If you've not yet tried it, you should," said NAPEO President and CEO Pat Cleary.

A one-time setup fee based on gross annual wages of the PEO, ranges from $295 - $895. NAPEO has waived the monthly service fees for the first 12 months for those PEO Members who subscribe anytime during 2015.
