On November 3, 2016, Frisco-based Code 3 Emergency Partners received approval from the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport Board to begin construction of an 8,125-square foot Freestanding Emergency Center and Urgent Care Facility on 1.43 acres of land in the DFW Airport Southgate Plaza Development, scheduled to open Fall 2017. At the same time, Code 3 will also begin construction of an Urgent Care facility and pharmacy located within DFW International Terminal D, slated to open in mid to late 2017.

Code 3 Emergency Partners currently owns and operates 2 active Emergency Rooms in Carrollton, Texas and McKinney, Texas and 1 Urgent Care in Carrollton, Texas. Additional dual model ER/Urgent Care facilities are currently in various stages of construction in Mesquite, Denton, and Rockport, Texas.



Code 3 Emergency Partners also provides Emergency Room physician staffing at facilities in Keller and Weatherford, Texas. The group is home to over 100 Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians who are residency specialty trained in Emergency Medicine. Subspecialties represented in the group include Pediatric Emergency Medicine, EMS, Travel Medicine, Critical Care, Ultrasound, Toxicology, and Leadership and Advocacy.

The 8,125-square foot facility in the DFW Southgate Plaza Development will house a full-service Emergency Room including observation rooms for short term observation admissions and a separate Urgent Care facility. The Emergency Room will be fully equipped with a CT scanner, Ultrasound, X-ray, Laboratory and Pharmacy. The concept will be the first ever of its kind on an airport property in the world.
