Aptilo Wins Carrier Wi-Fi Contract for South American Operator

One of the largest providers of telecommunications services in Guyana has selected Aptilo Networks to extend their current wireless network through carrier Wi-Fi. This is the tenth carrier win in South America for Aptilo.

The operator has deployed the Aptilo Service Management Platform™ (SMP), a state-of-the-art system to deliver and manage carrier-class Wi-Fi services.

The operator is uing the Wi-Fi enabled by Aptilo SMP to build business, targeting not only wireless customers to offload traffic in crowded areas and extend indoor coverage, but also enterprise customers such as universities, retail chain customers and public hotspots for government agencies.
