The 2017 Annual Member Meeting – a gathering of top IT industry and channel executives and leaders – is set for March 21-23 in Chicago. Wujec returns to the main stage at 4:30 p.m. (CT) on March 22 for a Power Talk on "Evaluating Emerging Technologies." He'll discuss how technology solution providers can effectively evaluate new technologies and decide which solutions are right for their portfolio. The Competitive Landscape The digital revolution that's creating new business opportunities is also spawning new competitive pressures for traditional channel partners. The Power Panel "Who's Your New Competitor?" will explore the new competitive landscape. The State of Smart Cities New on the agenda at this year's CompTIA Annual Member Meeting is the session "Smart Cities – How Leading Cities are Implementing Development Plans." Representatives of the cities of Austin, Texas; Philadelphia, Pa.; and Indianapolis, Ind. – three of the five cities that won Smart Cities Readiness Challenge Grants – will detail how their communities are using smart technologies to improve urban livability, workability and sustainability.
