Launched earlier this year, DRIVIN Marketplace is the auto industry's first intelligent marketplace where used car dealers can sell, buy and search used car inventory for their lot. DRIVIN licensed Chrome Data's Automotive Description Service (ADS) for superior data and OEM build data (original window sticker data), matched to 100's of categories to give dealers greater insights to source and market their inventory with improved effectiveness. "Improved data enables our dealer partners greater accuracy in making informed purchase decisions," said Leslie Vander Baan, VP of Sales for DRIVIN. Chrome Data, best known for its OEM build data, provides access to over 30 years of vehicle data and high-quality VIN and new car, light truck and motorcycle inforation. "We are delighted that DRIVIN selected Chrome Data to enhance DRIVIN Marketplace to use our data to provide superior offerings to their customers," stated Greg Perrier, Chrome Data's CEO. ADS utilizes proprietary technology and leverages OEM Build Data to yield more one-to-one trim matches, improved accuracy and detailed descriptions from a VIN or a VIN plus additional inputs. DRIVIN Marketplace was created to save used car dealers time and money by allowing them to spend less time at the auction and more time selling.
