Somnology's products allow the user the convenience and self-control to become better informed, more conscientious and greater enabled to monitor their sleep disorder and health.

Signifying the growing collaboration between Somnology and the NIH we are pleased to release the following NIH statement:

"Somnology Inc. and the National Institute of Diabetes & Digestive & Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) of the National Institutes of Health are collaborating on a research project to use the Somnology Plex® sleep scanner device to determine how controlled diets and sleep environments change sleep metrics in human subjects participating in clinical research studies at the NIH Clinical Center. The collaboration will also develop dynamic mathematical models of the human sleep cycle to be implemented in the Somnology software and mobile application.

Sleep is increasingly recognized as an important contributor to health, but sleep monitoring technology outside the laboratory setting is rudimentary. Somnology Inc. has developed a sensor device to accurately measure various sleep metrics in humans. Somnology has recognized the need to evaluate the sensor and software system in human subjects in a clinical research setting and evaluate how various factors affect sleep metrics, such as diet and the sleep environment. NIDDK conducts clinical research studies in human subjects and develops validated biologic modeling systems that can be used for planning and monitoring health management programs in humans."
