CTBC Bank USA CEO Noor Menai to Speak at the Financial Times' Banking Standards Conference

CTBC Bank USA announced today that its President & CEO Noor Menai will speak at the FT Banking Standards Conference on April 27, 2017 at the Hilton London Tower Bridge.

Mr. Menai will speak on "The Rise of a Global Banking Culture" panel, covering how banking behaviors and cultures vary considerably across the world, as well as the core principles that all banks should follow. The discussion will include an evaluation of UK's Banking Standards board and how it compares to similar developments in the US, Europe and other parts of the globe. In addition, outcomes from the recommendations from the International Group of 30 (G30) on reforming banking conduct and culture will also be ebated.

The panel will be moderated by Silvia Pavoni, Economics Editor, The Banker, FT Group. Additional panelists will include Sanjiv Chadha, Regional Head UK, State Bank of India; Evgueni Ivantsov, Chairman, European Risk Management Council; and Cindy Levy, Senior Partner, Global Risk Practice Leader, McKinsey and Company.

The conference will bring together top senior bankers, regulators, consultants, academics and lawyers to assess what levels of success are being achieved, what needs to be done and how bankers are able to change their behavior in terms of improving culture, ethics and business standards.
