Securian Makes Star Tribune Top Workplaces List for 8th Consecutive Year

Securian Financial Group has again been recognized by its associates as one of Minnesota's best employers.

For the eighth consecutive year, Securian has made the Star Tribune's annual list of Minnesota's "Top Workplaces." Securian is one of just 10 organizations that have made the list every year since the survey began.

"Securian takes great pride in being recognized by our associates, year after year, as an employer of choice in the Twin (News - Alert) Cities," said Mary Streed, Securian's second vice president of human resources planning. "Over the years, the survey results have consistently shown that our associates have a high degree of confidence in Securian's leaders, they see opportunities for growth within the company and appreciate doing meaningful work."

According to the Star Tribune, WorkplaceDynamics, an employee engagement and retention firm, surveyed the employees of 350 organizations in Minnesotarepresenting 109,442 people, with 69,192 responding. The top 150 scorers were named "Top Workplaces"-with Securian being one of the 30 top workplaces in the large company category (organizations with more than 500 employees).

Securian, headquartered in St. Paul, employs more than 2,700 associates in the city and more than 4,200 worldwide.
