Marco's, Nation's Fastest-Growing Pizza Company Announces New Tuition Assistance Program with Bellevue University for Both Full-Time and Part-Time Employees

Marco's Pizza is investing in its most valuable asset: its team members. Starting this summer, team members are eligible for up to $5,250 in Tuition Assistance per year when they earn their degrees from Bellevue University, a world leader in making it possible for motivated working adults to earn a college degree.

All full-time and part-time employees qualify after working at Marco's Pizza for 30 days. Immediate family members of employees are eligible for up to $2,625, too. To qualify, employees must maintain full-time student status throughout their degree program. This tuition reimbursement is good every year, adding up to $21,000 over the course of a four-year bachelor's degree.

"Our most valuable asset is our team members," said Marco's President Bryon Stephens. "Marco's continues with aggressive growth plans and to succeed we know that we need smart, engaged team members taking care of our guests in every Marco's community. This partnership with Bellevue University enables us to give back to those who helped build Marco's Pizza become one of the most successful delivery franchises in the United States. And with their excellent track record for providing focused, career-relevant education, Bellevue University will no doubt help our team members attain their goals and succeed throughout their careers."

Team members can choose from more than 50 bachelor's degrees and 30 master's degrees, all offered online. In addition to tuition assistance, team members can take advantage of a generous credit transfer policy that honors associate's degrees in full. Students alsobenefit from a variety of support services, including academic advising, online tutoring, a writing center, and ongoing professional development webinars.

"We're honored to extend these services to Marco's Pizza team members," said Dr. Mary Hawkins, president of Bellevue University. "Marco's Pizza understands the value of education, and their success over the years is a direct result of their commitment to their people. I'm excited about the possibilities of this unique partnership and look forward to welcoming Marco's team members from around the world to the innovative online course offerings we have here at Bellevue University."
